This animation was in the yogurt presentation given by Megan and myself. It shows how in the past ten years large multinational companies have been buying up small scale organics, but letting these companies keep their names. This gives consumer the idea that they are supporting small scale organics when most of the profits are going to the larger companies. Some examples are how Stonyfield is primarily controlled by Dannon, and Odwalla is now owned by Coca-Cola.

In the animation the small green dots are organic companies, the large yellow circles are multinationals, and the blue dots are strategic alliances.
